Saltire Award shortlisted author Anne Pia will be reading from her memoir Language of My Choosing, her vibrant life-memoir about growing up as an Italian-Scot in post World War II Edinburgh. She shares her struggle to bridge the gap between a traditional immigrant way of life and attaining her goal of becoming an independent-minded professional woman.
