Read this to my class of 6 year olds and almost all of them loved it. They would cheer whenever it was time for another chapter and all wanted to be the one to tell us what happened last time. They enjoyed learning new Scots words and some got very, very excited to hear Scots in a book. They kept saying "that's what we say at home!"
