Antonia Swinson

The first lady of allotmenteering, Antonia Swinson is chief executive of the Scottish Social Enterprise Coalition, an ex Fleet Street entertainment writer and business journalist. She was the first to write a regular allotment column in a national newspaper and her column still runs bi-monthly in The Scotsman. Swinson is a master craftswoman whose literary work and sagacity has been admired by, among others, Margaret Atwood, Libby Purves and Alexander McCall Smith. Swinson is a critically acclaimed author of both fiction and non fiction as well as an award winning journalist. She is and married and has two children.
