Laura Bissell launches her new book, 'Bubbles: Reflections on Becoming Mother', with Outwith Books

Educator, performance researcher and mother, Laura Bissell writes about the two positive tests that changed her life, a pregnancy test and a covid test. In this poignantly personal account, Laura explores how her very own bubble of three – a mother, father and child – navigated a year of isolated family life, and are continuing to come to terms with the after-effects the pandemic has had on parenting.

Laura will be giving readings and talking about Bubbles, with a Q & A at the end. Attendees are welcome to join her and continue the celebrations at Bungo’s afterwards.
