Lin Anderson

Lin Anderson was born in Greenock of Scottish and Irish parents. A graduate of both Glasgow and Edinburgh Universities, she has lived in many parts of Scotland, and spent five years working in the African bush. A teacher of computing, she began her writing career four years ago.

The script of her first film, Small Love (broadcast on Scottish Television in 2001 and 2002, earned her a TAPS Writer of the Year Award 2001 nomination. Some of her African short stories have been published in the 10th Anniversary Macallan collection and broadcast on BBC and European radio stations. Driftnet is Lin's first novel and was published by Luath Press along with her second, Torch.
