Angus Peter Campbell speaks to Mark Wringe about his English-language novel Memory and Straw at the Ullapool Book Festival.

Angus Peter Campbell is an award-winning poet, novelist, journalist and actor. His Gaelic novel An Oidhche Mus Do Sheòl Sinn was voted into the top 10 of the Best Ever Books from Scotland in the Orange/List Awards in 2007. He was nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for playing the lead role in the film Seachd in 2008. His bilingual poetry collection Aibisidh was the Scottish Poetry Book of the Year for 2012 and his English language novel Memory and Straw (which he will read from and talk about) won the Saltire Scottish Fiction Book of the Year Award for 2017.
