Hunterian Museum Poems: A History of the World in Objects and Poetry

Part of the West End Festival 2018.

After the success of The Hunterian Poems anthology which centred on the paintings in the Hunterian Art Gallery, this event follows through a similar procedure with a range of major contemporary Scottish poets focusing on the artefacts collected in the Hunterian Museum.   Come and hear the poets read their own work in the beautiful surroundings of the Hunterian Museum.

Poets include Edwin Morgan, Glasgow Poet Laureate Jim Carruth, Lesley Duncan, Gerda Stevenson and her stunning collection Quines, Peter McCarey, Liz Niven and Aonghas MacNeacail.

Tickets for this event are £6 and are available from
