Join Alan Longmuir's fans, family and friends at the Edinburgh nightclub Espionage for an event celebrating the launch of his autobiography I Ran With The Gang: My Life in and Out of the Bay City Rollers. Co-written with Martin Knight, the book tells Alan's story of founding the Rollers with his brother Derek and the band's rise to international fame with mega hits such as ‘Bye Bye Baby’ and ‘Shang-a-lang’.
Martin Knight will talk to Liam Rudden, writer of the popular I Ran With The Gang Fringe show, about the highs of ‘Rollermania’ and Alan’s life after running with the tartan gang. Alan’s brother and fellow Roller Derek Longmuir will also be present.
