Festival of Politics 2018: Who Owns and Stewards Scotland's Lands?

  • The Scottish Parliament Horse Wynd Edinburgh EH99 1SP (map)

Scotland is said to be disproportionately owned by a small number of individuals and companies. Join our chair Deputy Presiding Officer Linda Fabiani MSP and panellists Andy Wightman MSP, Local Government and Communities Committee and author of The Poor Had No Lawyers: Who Owns Scotland and How They Got It; Ninian Stuart, Centre for Stewardship; David Johnstone, Chairman, Scottish Land and Estates Commission; and Megan MacInnes, Scottish Land Commission, to debate Scotland’s land ownership and whether or not proposed land reform will actually punish those committed custodians who provide jobs, housing and security for rural communities.

Tickets are £6/£4 and are available from the Festival of Politics booking page.
