Author Bio	John Barrington was originally a hill shepherd who lived in Rob Roy Mac-Gregor's old house at the western end of Loch Katrine. A natural storyteller, he exercises his gift in schools, clubs, tours and ghost walks. His first book, Red Sky at Night, won him an SAC book award and was a UK number one best-seller. Sheepdog Stories is Barrington’s fourth book published by Luath Press. In addition to being an author, Barrington works as a sheep judge at festivals and he has made regular guest appearances on BBC Radio and TV nature programmes.
