Author Bio	Journalist Lesley Duncan is a graduate of Glasgow University and the State University of Pennsylvania, USA. She held various staff positions with The Herald newspaper, including those of weekend magazine editor and obituaries editor. Now, as a freelance, she is the paper's poetry editor, choosing the daily poem and from time to time contributing poems herself, mainly on topical events and issues. She co-edited The Edinburgh Book of Twentieth-Century Scottish Poetry (Edinburgh University Press, 2005) and The Wallace Muse (Luath Press, 2005).
