There's much more to Scottish societies than the stereotypical ceilidh club image. Over the years, societies all over the world have provided support and welfare to emigrant Scots, as well as providing social opportunities and business networking. They are also playing a major part in the preservation of Scottish culture and worldwide promotion of Scotland.
